Unlike conventional photo shooting, where the camera starts recording the moment the Record button is pressed, the HD2000 keeps loading images as long as the Photo button is kept pressed down. After you release your finger from the Photo button, the most recently loaded images are recorded onto your inserted SD card. This new style of photo capture is called reverse sequential shooting. Now you have more chance to capture sudden photo opportunities.
* At 8-megapixel resolution, the camera records a total of 9 frames at 6 fps. At 4 megapixel resolution, it records a total of 15 frames at 12 fps.

The HD2000 is able to detect your subjects’ faces instantly. Even if the faces move, the HD2000 can follow them and adjust the focus and exposure to match your central subject. The Face Chaser function has been developed so that it can even follow faces from a side-on angle.
Note: Depending on the subject and shooting conditions, face detection may not operate as expected.

The HD2000 can shoot and combine two photo images that have different exposure levels. This way you can avoid overexposure of bright areas and underexposure of dark areas, and enjoy smooth gradations and clear images.

Along with a video image stabilizer that works even during zooming, the HD2000 features a stabilizer that can compensate for rotational camera jiggle and a shaking subject. It also helps to prevent blurring of photo images due to shaky hands.
Note: The stabilizer may not compensate for extreme camera shake or for shaking that occurs at slow shutter speeds.
