The HD2000 further refines SANYO’s ergonomic Xacti blueprint, with a design that prevents muscle fatigue and maintains a horizontal lens orientation even when the camera is mounted on a tripod. At the same time, it’s still compact enough to grip in your hand.
The HD2000 features standalone shutter buttons that let you start shooting a video or a photo with a single thumb press. There’s no need to press a separate mode switch, and you can even shoot photos and videos simultaneously*.
* Photos are recorded at a resolution of 2.0 M., except in HD-SHQ mode (0.9 M photos) and TV-SHQ mode (0.3 M photos). This function is not available in Web-SHR or Web-UHR mode.
A one-touch switch allows you to change from Normal mode to Simple mode, which offers a more basic menu layout.
