We have improved color reproduction and low-light shooting quality by increasing the amount of video data captured. This was achieved by altering the algorithm for the video compression codec; by optimizing the gamma characteristics, noise reduction, and other signal-processing components; and by increasing the bit rate from 12 to 14 Mbps. Images are processed using advanced MPEG-4 AVC/H.264 image compression technology. The new high-speed processor also speeds up the processing of high-volume full-HD data. This allows you to record approximately 37 minutes
*1 of full-HD footage on a 4 GB SDHC memory card. In addition, single-chip integration contributes to the HD1010’s low power consumption and compact size. And by adding a new 1920 x 1080 30 fps
*2 shooting mode, we have made it even easier for your PC to handle full-HD video.
*1 In full-HD mode (60 fields/s, 14 Mbps). *2 In full SHQ mode (30 fps, 12 Mbps).
