Using high-resolution, high-sensitivity and low-noise technologies, the Xacti CG9 can record both movies and still pictures in high resolution down to the smallest detail. Compared to earlier image sensors, each pixel covers a larger area, which greatly enhances light reception performance. This enables high-resolution shots and seamless recording with little noise. 9.1M still shots can be taken at high sensitivity.
This function lets you capture portrait shots with sharp accuracy. Faces are sensed even when they are moving, allowing up to 12 persons to be tracked. Automatic exposure is applied to the entire area, while automatic focus captures the person at the center of the frame. Also, you can zoom in on faces during playback.
High-definition 9.1M pictures can be taken at ISO1600. Colors and expressions come out natural-looking, even in readily blurred scenes, such as indoors or at night, or when you prefer not to use the flash.
The Xacti CG9 includes a super macro mode that allows you to get as close as 1 cm from your subject at the wide-angle end. Tiny objects can be captured in bold close-ups for beautiful description down to the last detail.
By simply selecting a photo mode, you can take beautiful, fun pictures according to set photographic parameters.
